Thank you for undertaking this survey. We are investigating the Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway (AHRGP) uptake and completion.
The AHRGP is a post graduate training pathway incorporating a formal education program, dedicated supervision and workplace service development activities. The education program involves online education modules with some dedicated time to study at work. Service development activities include the development and implementation of workplace projects for example developing a new program or initiative to meet consumer needs.
We are interested in finding out what would interest you in undertaking the pathway, what aspects are important to you and which are less important. You can answer the survey if you are currently working in a metropolitan setting or a rural and remote setting. The information you provide will help us understand what works well with the allied health rural generalist pathway and what could be improved for people undertaking the pathway in the future.
The survey is divided into three main sections:
•In section A we will present you with questions to understand how you feel about programs such as the AHRGP and professional development for rural and remote settings in general.
•In section B we will ask you to imagine you had a choice between two different types of programs which are similar but slightly different to the Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway. We will ask you to select which program you would choose if you were offered these options for your service.
•In Section C we will ask you some questions about yourself and your service.
Please note that for this survey there are no right or wrong answers. We are simply interested in your views and opinions.
