Will you be available for 44 weeks to participate in this research study?
Are you aged between 40-80 years?
Have you been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease within the last 5 years by a neurologist?
If you are taking medications specifically prescribed for your Parkinson's disease, has the dosage changed in the last 6 months?
Are you taking any other medications or dietary supplements?
Are you currently exercising at moderate- to high-intensity for more than three times per week in the last 2 months?
Are you able and willing to attend the 'Clinical Exercise Physiology' laboratory at Flinders University for supervised aerobic exercise/light therapy/bogus sessions and testing sessions to assess clinical outcomes (before and after each 8-week treatment period)?
Do you have or have a history of any of the following?
Are you using corticosteroids or consistently using anti-inflammatory medication (> 2 times per day)?
Are you currently participating in other studies?
Do you have a history of musculoskeletal disorders (arthritis or orthopaedic injury)?
Has your doctor ever told you that you have a cognitive disorder?
Are you currently using any form of light therapy?
Are you currently with deep brain stimulation?
